eCo Credit Union Collects Change for Kids

Melissa Reeves, and her team at eCO Credit Union, are taking part in the annual fundraising effort “Change for Kids” that collects change (and any other type of currency) to bring REAL change to the kids at Children’s of Alabama. Children’s is a hospital that is dedicated to caring for kids even if they are unable to pay-they had over 600,000 patient visits last year alone, and see over 90% of the children in Alabama who have been diagnosed with cancer.  This is an organization that works hard to care for kids.

As a member of our Kirby Kangaroo program, we already knew that Melissa, and eCO Credit Union, were working hard for their members; their continued support of the “Change for Kids” fundraising effort shows us how dedicated they are to strengthening their community one family at a time. We want to thank Melissa for reminding us that our members are our friends, our neighbors, and our family and that we, as credit unions, play a vital role in keeping those members safe-whether it’s through safeguarding their money, or supporting the efforts at our local children’s hospital.
